Sports Psychology & the Equestrian Clinic
On Saturday, November 21, Stony Ridge hosted a riding psychology clinic featuring Paul Haefner, Phd.

Participants learned how to identify the source of their riding anxieties and ride with more confidence, improving not only their performance but that of their horses. The clinic was sponsored by Xenophon Strategies.  For more information about this topic, visit www.ridingfar.com.


Jane Nordstrom Training offers lessons and coaching for local to A level hunter, jumper, and equitation riders.  Jane believes in teaching riders how to use their bodies correctly to ensure that the horse performs correctly, and instilling confidence at all levels.

Second Sports Psychology for Equestrians Clinic Scheduled

On March 27, Stony Ridge Farm and Jane Nordstrom Training will host the second in a series of riding clinics featuring Paul Haefner, Phd. 

The clinic - coming just in time the the spring show season - will focus on overcoming performance and competition anxiety.

The November 21 clinic, titled "Riding Far With Confidence, help participants identify the source of their riding anxieties and ride with more confidence, impriving not only their performance, but that of their horses.

The clinic series is sponsored by Xenophon Strategies.

Featuring Julie Goodnight

On September 11-12, Stony Ridge Farm and Jane Nordstrom Trainng will host a two day clinic featuring Julie Goodnight.
